Parole compliance; 20 locations checked in Moreno Valley

Moreno Valley news headline from the Riverside Sheriff’s Department:

On Friday, September 3, at 7:00 a.m., officers from the Moreno Valley Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team Gang Unit and agents from State Parole conducted parole compliance checks at 20 locations within the city of Moreno Valley.

Parole compliance checks are conducted by law enforcement personnel to ensure individuals are in compliance with their terms of parole.

Two individuals were arrested and booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center for violating their terms. The violations included possession of illegal drugs and a dangerous weapon.  Two other individuals were arrested for felony warrants (parolees at large). Several misdemeanor warrant arrests were made along with arrests related to possession and sales of suspected marijuana.

One individual arrested during the compliance checks was identified as being involved in a past robbery in the city of Moreno Valley and was later booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center.
