Alfred Rabozzi

alfredrabozzi.jpgAlfred Rabozzi of Wildomar, California was 89 years of age when he entered eternity on Thursday, March 22, 2012. He entered life on Tuesday, May 23, 1922 in Solvay, New York; the son of the late John Rabozzi and the late Grace Colangelo Rabozzi.

Alfred was a Sergeant in the US Army Infantry during World War II where he participated in the Normandy invasion and the battles in Northern France and the Rhineland. He received the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster. When he returned to civilian life he was a brick mason for 56 years. He served as a board member for International Brick and Tile Local #20.

In 1979 he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Rabozzi. They had been married for 34 years.

Alfred is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Ethel; daughter, Roberta Hill; son, Richard Siracuse; brother, Mario Rabozzi and his wife, Helen; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service with military honors will be held Monday, April 2nd at 10:15 AM in the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, California. Meet in staging area #2.
