Allen Whitson was born April 9, 1939 in Midland, Texas and passed away on March 16, 2012 in Hemet, California.

He and his family moved to Pomona in 1950. He went to Pomona High and LaVern College. Allen married his high school sweetheart Sue in 1958. Allen managed the House of Tools for ten years until he joined the Pomona Police Department in 1968.

He retired as a lieutenant in 1980 and moved to Hemet in 1981. He owned several businesses in the Hemet and Perris area. Allen retired from real estate in 2008.

Allen loved his wife and family dearly. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and playing at the casinos.

Allen is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sue; daughter Julie and Rob Pingley; son Jeffrey and Rochelle Whitson; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
