johnoleary.jpgJohn William O’Leary age 85 of Riverside joined his wife Norma in eternal life on May 8, 2012. He was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada on April 25, 1927.

He was a resident of Riverside for over 40 years. Over the years of his life he was an amateur boxer, train engineer, service station owner, owner and operator of O’Leary’s Pro Shop and retired from Tava Lanes.

John was a member of St. Catherine of Alexandria in Riverside. Personally he enjoyed spending time at Tava Lanes and with his friends. His greatest joy of all was spending time with his grandkids and his great grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his wife Norma O’Leary and son in law George Tavaglione.

Survivors include his daughters Cheryl Tavaglione and Evelyn O’Leary; sons Keith O’Leary and his wife Marianne and Michael O’Leary; beloved daughter-in-law Kathy; eight grandchildren and twelve great- grandchildren.

There will be a memorial mass on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 11am at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church. Interment was private at Olivewood Memorial Park. Please visit www.achesonandgraham.com to offer condolences. Acheson and Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary (951) 688-1221.
