Richard John Tober age 69, passed away on May 18, 2012 at the Menifee Valley Medical Center. He was born on November 13, 1942 in Passaic, New Jersey and had been a resident of Perris, CA for 28 years.

He had been a Security Guard for Patrol One for 23 years (1984 - 2007). Richard proudly served in the U.S. Navy as Torpedoman Chief for 25 years. He was a brother of the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall in Riverside, CA.

Richard was preceded in death by his wife Frances Tober who died on 5/18/2010.

He is survived by his daughters Melissa Tober of Foothill Ranch and Tammy (Roger) Buss of North Carolina; sons Daniel Tober of Menifee, CA and Bruce Tober of Perris, CA; sister Kathy Tober of New Jersey; grandchildren Amanda & Jessica Buss of North Carolina and Thomas Tober of Perris, CA.

Memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 28, 2012 at 3pm at Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall, Perris. Gravesite Service will be held on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 2:00pm at Riverside National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Nuevo Road Animal Hospital, 830 E. Nuevo Rd, Perris, CA 92571 Arlington Mortuary, Directors (800) 275-4648.
