Sadie Sanchez sadly passed away at age 75 on 6/3/2012. She was born in Truth or Consequences, NM.

She moved to Riverside when she was in Jr. High School. Sadie had worked at the Casa Blanca Home of Neighborly Service as a community service worker until she retired after many years of service.

After retirement she continued many programs for the community including the Brown Bag program which she ran until her death. She never missed a day in over 30 years. Sadie made many friends in life. She was loved by all who knew her.

She enjoyed talking on the phone with all her friends and family. She loved watching her novelas and going out to eat at Flo’s. We were all blessed to have her in our lives.

Sadie is survived by her daughter Rosalinda; sons Eddie and Ruben. She had 8 grandchildren: Andrea, Lloyd, Carlos, Lisa, Renee, Monique, Vanessa and Ruben Jr. She also had 8 great-grandchildren: Marysa, Angel, Mark, Gabriel, Alyssa, Matthew, Micah and Dominic.

Survivors include 2 brothers and several nieces and nephews who loved her very much.

She was preceeded in death by her husband, Cony, parents Lupe and Jose and brothers Daniel and Tony.

Visitation will be held on 6/12 from 5-8pm at Acheson and Graham Garden of Prayer. Rosary will begin at 6pm. Funeral on 6/13, 10am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Riverside with burial to follow at Riverside National Cemetery, Staging Area 5.
