Dorothy Stringer born March 9, 1922 in Pittsburgh, PA, Passed away in Moreno Valley on June 4, 2012. at the age of 90 years.

She enjoyed volunteering, PTA, VICA ( Volunteers in Child Abuse), Hospice, Volunteer in Probation (VIP), all in Orange County, moved to Moreno Valley and started Women’s Discovery Group and a support group for caregivers of Parkinson’s Disease patients. Loved to work in her garden, she considered it therapy.

Loving wife of Robert Stringer of 44 years, deceased in Oct. 1997.

Loving mother of Patti Bolter of Moreno Valley, Keith Stringer of Highland, Gary Stringer and step daughter Joanne Roach.

She is survived by her children, grand children Cory and Taylor Bolter and Ken and Kara Roach and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Parkinson’s or your favorite charity . Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s in Moreno Valley, June 11, 2012 at 11:30am. Burial will be at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California following the Mass.
