Wanda Fox Evensen went to be with Jesus on June 3, 2012. She was born on Christmas Day in 1928 in Bluewell, West Virginia.

She graduated from Princeton High School in 1948. Wanda served in the U.S. Army for 5 years and the U.S. Air Force for 15 1/2 years. She was married to Stanley Evensen while stationed in Wyoming.

She lived in Riverside, California after her retirement from the Air Force in 1972 until her death on June 13, 2012. Wanda was interred in Riverside National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.

She is survived by nieces Syble Fulk and Gladys Fulk, cousins Marlene Adkins, James and Nina Holland, Howard and Bill Hedrick, Joe Gibson and Brenda Doyle.

She will be especially missed by her special friend Dawn McGhee and family in Riverside, CA.
