Rita Washington, long time resident of Corona, passed away Friday, June 8, at the age of 97. She was born July 12, 1914 and lived in Corona 67 years.

She is survived by her son Frank; daughter-in-law Lidia and daughter Shirley Eubanks.

She also had 8 grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 12 noon at Grimes-Akes Family Funeral Home, 500 W. 7th St., Corona.
