Eagles to reunite; band to perform at Ontario Citizens Bank Arena

LA country/rock icons the Eagles will bring their Long Road Out of Eden tour to Ontario’s Citizens Business Bank Arena on May 22.

The reunited band — featuring Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit  — is also slated to play the Hollywood Bowl on April 16-17 and 20; the Honda Center in Anaheim on April 25; and the Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre in Chula Vista on May 23.

Tickets for the Ontario show will be available via an American Express pre-sale March 8-14; tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. March 15 through Ticketmaster. Prices are $32-$230; a special All-In pricing program means there will be no additional Ticketmaster fees. (It should be noted that the Eagles’ manager, Irving Azoff, is also CEO of Ticketmaster.)

VIP packages, priced from $495-$895, are available.

The band became legendary for its pioneering country-rock sound; one of the biggest-selling acts of all time, the band’s hits include “Take It Easy,” “Tequila Sunrise,” “Hotel California,” “Best of My Love,” “Peaceful Easy Feeling” and “Life in the Fast Lane.”  After an acrimonious split that lasted more than a decade, the core members of the Eagles reunited in the mid-’90s (guitarist Don Felder was asked to leave in 2001) and released a Grammy-winning studio album, “Long Road Out of Eden,” in 2007.
