Maria’s Antiques, 3563 Main Street – Gigi (Maria) Hernandez, Owner

votehere.jpg Located on Main Street between Fifth and Sixth Streets, Maria’s Antiques has one of the larger window fronts of all the participants. According to owner, Gigi Hernandez, having all of this extra space added to the pressure of coming up with an innovative holiday design.

She chose to break away from the traditional red & green holiday décor to create something different for each of her 3 distinct window displays. One is a Cirque du Soleil theme, with clowns and other whimsical circus-like characters decorating the white Christmas tree.

Ms. Hernandez calls her second design “Christmas in Paris”, which has a Parisian feel with a variety of papier-mache décor. The third design, which she says is her favorite, is a forest theme, displaying deer, glittery branches, and other outdoorsy decorations.
